Q. Are the instructors CRB checked?
Q. Do I have to book in advance?
Q. What if I have any other questions?
| Q. | What do I wear? |
|---|---|
| A. | For your first few lessons T-shirt and track suit bottoms are ideal. Karate is also performed in bare feet. When you decide to come regularly you will need to purchase a Karate suit (Gi). |
| Q. | Will I get hurt? |
| A. | A common misconception is that karate is all about hurting, being hurt and being thrown around. Although Karate can be quite physical we train on a controlled, light-contact basis and injuries are very rare. |
| Q. | How much does it cost? |
| A. | Your first lesson is free and from then on it's £5 for adults and £4 for children per session, payable before each session. |
| Q. | Am I too old? |
| A. | No! Karate is for all ages and it's never too late to start. |
| Q. | Are the instructors CRB checked? |
| A. | Yes. All of our instructors have valid CRB checks. |
| Q. | Do I have to book in advance? |
| A. | No - you can just turn up on the day. Please see the training times page. |
| Q. | What if I have any other questions? |
| A. | Feel free to email us with any questions you have. |
