Q. What do I wear?
A. For your first few lessons T-shirt and track suit bottoms are ideal. Karate is also performed in bare feet. When you decide to come regularly you will need to purchase a Karate suit (Gi).
Q. Will I get hurt?
A. A common misconception is that karate is all about hurting, being hurt and being thrown around. Although Karate can be quite physical we train on a controlled, light-contact basis and injuries are very rare.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Your first lesson is free and from then on it's £5 for adults and £4 for children per session, payable before each session.
Q. Am I too old?
A. No! Karate is for all ages and it's never too late to start.
Q. Are the instructors CRB checked?
A. Yes. All of our instructors have valid CRB checks.
Q. Do I have to book in advance?
A. No - you can just turn up on the day. Please see the training times page.
Q. What if I have any other questions?
A. Feel free to email us with any questions you have.
